The Library at the Käthe Kollwitz Museum Köln

The ›think-tank‹ of Kollwitz research

The body of works at the research library of the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Cologne comprises well over 3,000 volumes – monographies, exhibition catalogues, encyclopaedias, bulletins, magazines, photographs and videos.

The Library at the Käthe Kollwitz Museum Köln

The focal point of the collection are publications on Käthe Kollwitz – among them many rare items.
In addition, the library has literature on artists who were active around Käthe Kollwitz or who can be seen in her context, publications on topics from that period, literature on printing techniques and the various different artistic movements around 1900.

The library collection is currently being re-catalogued so that it can eventually be accessed online via our homepage.
