The last sheet, »The End«, shows the crushing of the revolt by the deployment of soldiers. Two mourning women are seen in a weaver’s room standing next to the men who were killed. Another victim is just being carried into the room. Wafts of smoke coming through the door show that the revolt is still ongoing. The woman next to the dead bodies who hides her head in her arms, and the woman at the door who seems to be paralysed with grief, illustrate the misery of the women left behind.
